1/7TH SALUTES THE FIGHTING 69TH

On repeated occasions over the years, the 1/7th New York Guard has had the honor of providing legal services to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry (Mechanized), NY Army National Guard. We salute these men and women of the Fighting 69th for their distinguished service in Iraq. You have served in the greatest tradition of your historic Unit. We mourn with you for the losses and casualties sustained by your personnel and remember with some sense of pride the small role our JAG Officers played in providing legal services prior to your mobilization. We support the efforts of your families in obtaining the well-deserved support which you seek, and we offer whatever assistance we can to achieve that goal.
