detachment and LNO to Joint Task Force 42. Acted as Joint Task Force 42 Assistant
Judge Advocate while on SAD in connection with 911 terrorist attacks on World Trade
Center. Represented Commander, NYNM at New York Guard Military Law Committee.
Served as Inspector General, NYNM. Prepared memoranda of law for NYNM as
Inspector General/JAG. Served as NYNM representative JAG in assisting reservists’
preparation for federal active duty. Represented Commander, NYNM at various public

My New York and Ct. firm represented a substantial multi-state corporation in a complex
antitrust case; international business transactions, corporate, real estate, personal injury
and divorce litigation practice.
Partner:
Hill & Co., The Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Resuscitated a moribund local one-lawyer practice, developing it into the largest international law firm in the Arabic Gulf. Banking: prepared and organized $100 million syndicated letter of credit facility for the lead bank; created substantial documentation for many international banks; negotiated with the highest governmental authorities; created corporate and contractual instruments.
Corporate: advised royal family and major international corporations on Omani, United
Arab Emirates, Saudi, Bahraini and other Arabic and U.S. law; prepared trust indentures;
set up business entities. Litigation: successfully prosecuted, defended and settled
numerous actions in judicial and administrative forums in the Middle East.
